Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage freight claims and inspections.
- Act as the main contact for cargo, accident, and insurance claims.
- Collect and coordinate documentation for claims.
- File and manage claims efficiently to minimize costs.
- Investigate accidents by gathering information from drivers, law enforcement, and insurance.
- Monitor insurance coverages and ensure proper vehicle and equipment insurance.
- Prepare reports on claim metrics for management.
- Support other Safety, Operations, and Management team members.
- Prioritize tasks to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The Cargo Claims Specialist will manage carrier claims, supporting safety and operations. Experience with accident claims and insurance is preferred. This role requires strong communication with drivers, operations, brokers, and customers to update claim statuses.
